Sky blue pendant
Celestine (or celestite) is a strontium sulfate mineral discovered in 1790. The name comes from the Latin word: 'Caelestis' which means 'heavenly' and refers to the sky-blue color that the crystals can have. However, the crystals can also be colorless to gray. The most beautiful blue celestine crystals are found in Madagascar. Note that the blue color of celestine may fade in bright light or sunlight.
