Product description

Sky blue crystals

Celestite is a strontium sulphate mineral that has been discovered since 1790. The name comes from the Latin word: 'Caelestis' which means 'heavenly' and refers to the sky-blue colour that the crystals have. However, the crystals can also be colourless to grey. The most beautiful blue celestite crystals are found in Madagascar. Note that the blue color of celestite can fade in bright light or sunlight.

Largest geode in the world

The largest geode in the world is from celestite. It can be found on South Bass Island in Ohio, USA. The celestite geode is more than 10 meters long with crystals between 20 and 45 centimeters! The geode is 10 meters underground and is owned by a winegrower who has opened the geode to the public.

Soothing crystal

Celstite is a soothing stone that is able to purify negative energy. Place a celestite cluster in the house to fill the room with positive energy. Ideal for the bedroom or meditation room. A celestite cluster in the workplace provides a calm atmosphere and reduces stress.
