Charoite is a mineral found in Southwestern Sakha. This is a part republic of Russia and is located in Siberia. The mineral is characterized by the lilac to purple color. It is a very rare mineral and is not found anywhere else in the world. The intense colors are 100% natural.

Chara river

Charoite is named after the Chara River where the mineral was first discovered. The first reports of the mineral's discovery came out in 1940. However, it took until 1978 before charoiet was first described.
