Stone of the mixed colors
Tourmaline has been known in the Mediterranean region since ancient times. In Western Europe, the stone gained popularity in 1703 when the Dutch took this stone from Sri Lanka. The stone was given the name 'Turmali'. This means in Sinhalese: 'Stone of the mixed colors'. The Black variant is the most common tourmaline.
In addition to the general effect of tourmaline, this stone has a grounding and stabilizing effect. Dravite expels negative energy and cleans the aura.
