Product description

Huge meteorite impact in Kazakhstan

Irghizite (or irgizit) was created by a large meteorite impact in present-day Kazakhstan about 900,000 years ago. This gigantic meteorite has left a crater on Earth no less than 14 kilometers in diameter. The meteorite is believed to have been large enough to cause a global winter for years to come. Irghizite was left after the impact because the earth's sand and parts of the meteorite fused together due to the enormous heat and pressure. This impact glass is called a tektite.

Highly detailed tektite

Irghizite is the most detailed tektite known on Earth. Recovered pieces often consist of molten threads and droplets with beautiful swirls of very pure black glass. Small round spheres are often visible on the surface. This indicates that the impact released a mist of tiny glass droplets that were captured as a time capsule in the Irghizite.

energetic effect

Besides the general properties of tektite (high energy with a strong connection to the cosmos), Irghizite also has a special connection with the earth and our heart-centric area. It also works on the Solar Plexus, while for example moldavite affects the heart and upper chakras and indochinite affects the root and lower chakras, irghizite focuses its attention on the central area of the body.
