Tumbled stone from Greenland
A remote stone
Astrophylite was first discovered in 1854 on the remote island of Låven in Norway. The stone has since been found in several places but only in remote areas in Canada, Greenland and Russia. These polished specimens were found in Greenland.
The name Astrophylite comes from the Greek words "astron" which means "star" and "phyllon" which means "leaf". This is because of the star-shaped patterns that this mineral forms.
Working of Astrophylite
Astrophylite is considered to be an earthy and protective stone. It is a stone that brings soulmates together and promotes faithfulness and intimacy. The stone can also help to combat stress and fears.
