What is howlite?

Howlite is a naturally white stone with grey veins. The stone was first found in Windsor, Nova Scottia in Canada in 1886 by the chemist Henry How. Although Henry had first given the stone a different name, it was shortly after renamed into howlite.

What is turqurenite

Howlite has a porous structure and therefore easily absorbs colours. Howlite is popular as Turkois imitation, because of its corresponding surface structure. Often the blue colored howlite is offered as a turqurenite.

How does howlite work?

Howliet is a pleasantly soothing stone that helps to release stress, anxiety and old emotional pains. It can help to process emotions in order to find peace, happiness and satisfaction in the here and now.
