Teeth of a real dinosaur

The first fossil remains of Mosasaur were found near Maastricht. The Mosasaur is named after the river. This tooth was found in the phosphate mines in Morocco.


These marine reptiles were among the largest of their kind and grew up to 18 meters long! The photos are enlarged to show detail. In the last picture is a ruler for the actual size of the tooth.
