The paleocarcharodon shark develops after the extinction of the dinosaurs and large sea reptiles into one of the most important shark genera. This species belonged to the white sharks and flourished between 61.7 to 55.8 million years ago and then died out. The teeth are characterized by the serrated edges.
These shark teeth are found in the Kem Kem formation on the border of Morocco and Algeria. Not only shark teeth but also dinosaur teeth and even entire skeletons have been found in this area.
