This beautiful slice was found and carved in Brazil. The stone was sawn into thin slices, polished on two sides and placed on a metal stand. Many of our slices also contain amethyst crystals! An asset to any interior. The colour is completely natural and the volumes found are low. This makes every standard completely unique!

Pink amethyst or chalcedony?

These special stones have been given the name ‘pink amethyst’ in which they are known in the market. Actually, this name is not quite right. The crystals are often from amethyst and have a (light) purple colour. The pink colour is caused by hematite compounds in chalcedony. Actually, it is a pink chalcedony slice in which some purple amethyst crystals can be found.
