This shark tooth is from the extinct Cosmopolitodus Hastalis shark that lived in the Miocene.
Fossil shark teeth
The C. Hastalis shark could grow up to 10 meters long and populated the seas between 3.5 and 23 million years ago. The shark teeth were found in the now closed harbor area of Antwerp. A nice copy for the collection or for a speech.
