Origin of Silver Crystals
These native silver crystals originate from the Bouismas Mine in the Zagora Province of Morocco. Here they are found on calcite, a common mineral that makes up part of the rock formation in which the silver crystals formed. The crystals form a beautiful dendritic pattern, meaning they branch out like a plant or a tree. This unique pattern was revealed by etching away some of the surrounding calcite, exposing the embedded silver crystals.
Native Silver Mineral
Native silver is an unbound form of silver that occurs as a mineral. This means that the silver is present in its pure form, without chemically bonding with other elements. Silver typically forms in veins and cavities around hydrothermal activity as part of other rock formations.
Tribute to the Moon Goddesses
Silver plays an important role in many spiritual traditions. It's used to amplify the power of other crystals and enhance their purity. This makes silver a significant element in spiritual healing processes. Silver is also used to honor the Moon Goddesses. In many cultures, the moon and silver symbolize femininity and fertility. The use of silver in rituals and ceremonies is a way to honor these goddesses and ask for their blessings.
