Chibuku Mine
These crystals were recently discovered in the Chibuku Mine in Zimbabwe and are named after the Shangaan tribal region where the mine is located. The crystals are known for their beautiful crystal formations; double-terminated points and scepters are not uncommon. Often, the crystal appears as a combination of amethyst and smoky quartz, with traces of hematite also present. In rarer cases, bubbles of water or petroleum can be found inside, known as enhydros.
Ethically Sourced
The Shangaan amethyst is mined by the local population. Specific rules have been established by the tribal chief to protect the natural environment where the crystals are found. For instance, five trees must be planted for every tree cut down, and every dug hole must be refilled.
Elestial Quartz with Feminine Energy
The Shangaan amethyst is an elestial quartz with natural lines and layers within the crystal. It carries a strong feminine energy that enhances self-confidence and personal power. The crystal is considered a master healer that supports personal transformation.
