Dragonstone
Septarian is formed by the drying out of tuberous mounds of mud. The shrinkage cracks that arose were filled with calcite. The white calcite contrasts nicely with the often dark background and is therefore sometimes called 'dragon stone'.

Although September is found all over the world, the most popular sites are Morocco and Madagascar. Septarian has always been created in the same way, but still look very different per location. Actually, there is never a septary exactly the same, not even from the same location.
