Beautiful brookite crystal from Kharan, Balochistan in Pakistan. Brookite is one of the main forms of titanium oxide. It is a polymorph of rutile and anatase. This means that they have the same chemical formula but in a different crystal form. When you heat brookite above 750 degrees, the structure turns into rutile. The brookite is in a box of 2.5 x 2 x 2.5 cm
