This beautiful plaque was found and edited in Brazil. The stone is cut into thin slices, polished on both sides and placed on a metal stand. Many of our slabs also contain amethyst crystals! An asset to any interior. The color is completely natural and the volumes found are low. This makes each standard completely unique!

Pink Amethyst or Chalcedony?

These special stones have been given the name 'pink amethyst' in which they are known in the market. Actually, this name is not quite right. The crystals are often made of amethyst, but they are (light) purple in color. The pink color is caused by hematite compounds in chalcedony. So it is actually a pink chalcedony slice in which purple amethyst crystals can sometimes be found.
